Driver/ warehouse operative

Job Title Driver/Warehouse Operative (Category C Licence & CPC Required) Salary €38,000 - €45,000 per annum Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Finglas Warehouse. This role is split approximately 80% driving and 20% warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities Driving Duties (80%) Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road traffic legislation and company policies. Complete scheduled deliveries and collections accurately and on time. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are secured correctly during transport.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer proof of delivery. Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.

Warehouse Duties (20%) Assist with receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries. Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment. Carry out stock movements and support stock control activities as required. Comply with all company health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements Full Category C (Rigid Truck) Driving Licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Good understanding of safe driving and warehouse practices.

Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good level of physical fitness to carry out manual handling duties.

Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:15 am - 5:00 pm Friday: 8:15 am - 4:00 pm 39 hours per week Benefits Competitive salary of €38,000 - €45,000 per annum. Monthly salary payment on the last Friday of each month. Company pension scheme available from your first day of employment.
