English Teacher - SEK Dublin International School

At SEK-Dublin International School, we are looking to incorporate a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join our Languages Department starting in September 2026.

Mission

The successful candidate will contribute to the academic development of students by delivering high-quality English language instruction within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Acquisition in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
• Deliver English B in the IB Diploma Programme (DP).
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Languages Department and across the school.
• Participate actively in school life, including meetings and occasional weekend activities.

Requirements

• Degree in English Studies, English Philology, Modern Languages (English specialization), or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Teacher Training or equivalent qualification.
• Native level of English.
• Previous experience in international schools is highly valued.
• IB training or experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
