Investment Analyst

We are partnering with a leading global investment firm as it continues to expand its European Credit platform. This is a standout front-office opportunity in Dublin, offering exposure to leveraged loan, high-yield bond, and direct lending transactions across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct investment analysis across liquid and private credit opportunities.
• Build detailed financial models and prepare investment committee papers.
• Perform financial statement, balance sheet, and credit analysis.
• Undertake comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence on target companies and sectors.
• Assess the quality of corporate management teams.
• Evaluate new investment opportunities and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments and identify key risks and opportunities.
• Attend meetings with management teams of prospective portfolio companies

Key Requirements:

• 1 - 2 years investment, corporate finance, M&A, transaction services, leveraged finance, investment banking or valuations experience.
• Strong academic background: a professional qualification is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and strong self-motivation.
• A passion for financial markets.
