Canadian Base Operators is seeking Heavy Duty Emergency Vehicle Technician Mechanics to join their Firebag team at the Firebag River Airport. This is a fly-in fly-out opportunity with flexible rotations and camp accommodations. The ideal candidates will have experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining emergency vehicles and heavy equipment, and will thrive in a physically demanding, safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Need

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent certification
• Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Class 1 or Class 3 with Q endorsement (asset)
• Proficient in diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues
• Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and write service reports
• Organizational and basic computer skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with little supervision
• Physically able to perform demanding duties
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Compliance with client vaccination requirements may be necessary
