System Analyst

Position: ITSM - Systems Analyst / Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Canada (Remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Typical tasks and activities associated with the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Implement applications to support projects, departments, organizations, or corporate services.
• Translate business requirements into systems design and technical specifications.
• Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for technical solutions.
• Analyze business requirements, perform feasibility studies, and provide costing estimates for options analysis, map interdependencies, and produce the required functional and technical specifications or process re-engineering recommendations.
• Provide system expertise to both functional and technical teams to ensure effective integration of solutions across the application(s).
• Provide application support to end-users by troubleshooting and correcting issues, providing training, and reporting to management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity with troubleshooting and making minor modifications in Digital Workplace Catalog and DWP
• Familiarity in installing/patching ITSM (ARS, AI, CMDB, ITSM, RKM, SLM) plus Smart IT and DWP & DWPC all v20.x and newer.
• Familiarity in data configurations of ITSM (ARS, AI, CMDB, ITSM, RKM, SLM) plus Smart IT and DWP & DWPC all v20.x and newer.
• Familiarity in Smart Reporting install, configurations, and ability to make minor modifications.
• Ability to review remedy workflow via dev-studio and troubleshoot performance issues including, enabling various kind of logs and identifying workflows or platform aspects from a root cause analysis.
• Also, being able to run utilities for post DB copy updates, foundation data loads (manually or through DMT tool)
• Analyzing SOAP, REST and atrium-integrator based integrations.
• Familiarity in working with Operating system mainly Linux.
• Experience working with support for creating tickets and providing log files etc. is key
