About the Role

Sprockets Australia is seeking an experienced Technical Warehouse Storeperson to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives incoming goods, checks for damage and reconciles goods against invoices.
• Unloads vehicles, opens packages and removes contents.
• Operates our computer systems to record stock location and quantity.
• Labels goods with storage location details.
• Packs, weighs and seals goods for dispatch.
• Picks orders against picking lists and checks goods off.
• Operates a forklift to lift, place and move goods. We funded his training and he holds a current forklift licence.
• Identifies and matches technical products in the niche market of sprockets for use in all industries (Mill Chain, Silent chain, Drag chain, Roller chain, Drum, segmented, Split, Double Single, Engineered class and others).
• Manages stock and inventory systems on computer, including Tencia and ZoHo.
• Advices staff and customers on product specifications and suitable substitutions.
• Trains and guides other warehouse and logistics staff.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound logistics and supplier follow-up.
• Drives our truck and ute to make urgent customer deliveries when needed.

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehouse Operations) or two years of full-time experience
