JOB PURPOSE
- Enthusiastic professional who is technically proficient, dedicated to exceptional customer service and able to work autonomously.
- Respond and resolve incidents and requests raised by customers and system generated alerts, internal project tasks, quality control activities, as well as some travel to other offices if required.
- Support asset management services throughout the lifecycle of a device by tracking and recording the movement of the device and undertaking regular audits.
- Monitor compliance to Breville's standard operating environment policies to ensure standardisation of the desktop environment and minimisation of exposure to data loss and licensing compliance.
- Create and document processes and procedures in relation to the Service Desk and Service Delivery.
- Coordinate External Vendors for warranty and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist other Breville Technology Services groups with a local presence where required for operational infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline OR
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Service Desk and/or Desktop Support
- Microsoft Certifications
- ITIL V3 Foundation or Higher
Professional Experience
Essential:
- Experience across a broad range of Desktop and Device technologies
- Experience troubleshooting Windows, O365 and Active Directory
- Understanding of device hardware and peripherals and Microsoft operating systems
- Understanding of device operations within a network environment
- Technical documentation writing
- Working knowledge of Networking environments
- Experience in working within ITIL & Project Methodology process driven environments.
- A positive, results oriented and customer focused attitude.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent Problem Diagnostic and solving skills.
- Excellent written and technical documentation skills.
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership to see actions/issues through to completion.
- The ability to adapt to a changing environment that requires proactive and innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to Detail
