About the Company
Within a successful startup company, you will be opening a brand new line of business. The startup is in the SMB lending space and you will act as a founding member for a new product that will target the USA market. The product will be a platform helping to connect small businesses with lenders like banks and credit unions.
About the Role
A pilot project has already been run, so you are starting with some assumptions and an internal team but building the rest from scratch. If you have done this before, you can imagine the things that are necessary, like forming partnerships needed to sell the product, guiding a team to completion of the product, and responsibility for pricing and GTM strategy.
Responsibilities
- Open a brand new line of business.
- Act as a founding member for a new product targeting the USA market.
- Build the product from scratch with an internal team.
- Form partnerships necessary to sell the product.
- Guide a team to completion of the product.
- Responsible for pricing and GTM strategy.

The role is remote with preference for Vancouver, but anywhere in Canada with occasional travel could work.
