We're currently looking for a bright, energetic and motivated Chiropractic Assistant to join our team as the welcoming face of our practice in Wollongong.

This is a casual position with the opportunity to grow into a part-time role for the right person.

This is much more than a reception position. You'll become an integral part of our team, helping create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

About the Role

As our Chiropractic Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our chiropractors while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

You’ll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming and organised environment where every patient feels valued, supported and genuinely cared for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Answering and making phone calls and responding to patient enquiries.
• Processing payments and health fund claims.
• Supporting our chiropractors with day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Managing patient communication, recalls and follow-up appointments
• General reception, administration and office duties
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented clinic
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, initiative and a genuine passion for helping others.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A warm, friendly and engaging personality with a natural ability to build rapport
• Impeccable phone manner and outstanding communication skills
• A proactive "can do" attitude and strong self-motivation
• The ability to multitask, stay organised and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work and personal presentation
• Confidence using computers and learning new systems quickly
• Previous administration or customer service experience (health or medical experience is highly regarded but not essential)
• A genuine interest in health, chiropractic and supporting patients on their wellness journey
• Flexibility to work casual shifts and grow with the practice long term
