IGCSE & A Levels Economics Teacher Facilitator

The IGCSE Economics Teacher Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, learner-centred Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The role involves fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world economic understanding while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. The teacher will contribute to curriculum planning, student assessment, and the wider life of the school.

Essential

• Master's or bachelor's degree in economics, Commerce, Business Economics, or a related discipline.
\n
• B.Ed. or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
\n
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Economics or an equivalent international curriculum.
\n
• Excellent understanding of the Cambridge assessment framework and examination requirements.
\n
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
\n
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
\n
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.

Preferred

\n
• Experience teaching Cambridge AS & A Level Economics.
\n
• Cambridge Professional Development qualifications or certification.
\n
• Experience with interdisciplinary and project-based learning.
