Job Description

The Data Ops CoE (Center of Excellence) is a shared services team supporting multiple Verisk business units. The team plays a key role in acquiring, onboarding, validating, and maintaining data that powers our analytics and data-driven solutions.

In addition to supporting daily operations, the team continuously identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation.

This role will primarily support the Data Driven Safety (DDS) business, whose mission is to deliver actionable driver history insights to insurance carriers through the aggregation and analysis of public records data, including traffic violations and crash records.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy structured, detail-oriented work, take pride in maintaining high levels of data quality, and find satisfaction in ensuring critical operational processes run smoothly every day.

Responsibilities

Perform daily monitoring of data sources and automated data collection processes to ensure successful execution, completeness, and data quality.

Investigate and help resolve data collection issues by collaborating with internal partners, including IT and Government Relations teams.

Gain a solid understanding of business processes and recommend enhancements related to data quality, process efficiency, error detection, and automation.

Utilize analytical tools, including Snowflake, to support operational analysis and generate insights.

Create, maintain, and update process documentation, and operational guidelines.

Leverage AI-powered tools to improve productivity and optimize daily workflows.

Qualifications

Some experience in an international corporate environment, with an understanding of professional business communication and collaboration across global teams.

Fluent English (minimum B2 level), with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken business environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify data inconsistencies.

Ability to follow established processes and procedures.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring tasks effectively.
