Location: South Manchester (M20)

Pay: £160 – £210 per day

Contract Type: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent potential)

About the Role

An "Outstanding" rated primary school situated in M20 is searching for an inspiring and passionate Primary Teacher to take on a Year 4 or Year 5 class. The school prides itself on high academic standards, strong community ties, and a rich, creative curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.

• Create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

• Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and extracurricular school activities.

Role Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.

• Proven track record of strong classroom management and pupil engagement.

Mandatory DBS & Safeguarding Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Certificate with a Children's Barred List check (Update Service preferred).

• Satisfactory clearance through Overseas Police Checks (where applicable).

• Two professional references from recent education management/leadership.

• Complete adherence to Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance.
