Security Analyst

We are working with a leading organisation in the financial sector to recruit a Securities & Derivatives Analyst to provide leadership and direction within a high-performing Operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced securities operations professional to take ownership of transaction processing activities, drive operational improvements, and support a team responsible for delivering seamless securities and derivatives services.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team managing securities and derivatives transactions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on settlement processes, resolving complex issues and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
• Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend process enhancements.
• Analyse data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of projects, including trade flow improvements and platform enhancements.
• Identify process and policy gaps to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
• Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and operational control standards.

What we're looking for:

• Experience within securities operations, derivatives, trade processing, or transaction services.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of settlement processes, controls, and risk management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
