Machine and Forklift Operator

Recruitment Select is currently seeking reliable Machine operators with forklift experience for one of our manufacturing clients based in Albury.

This role will rotate across several duties, including yard work, forklift operation (where appropriately licensed and experienced), machine operation, and general factory hand tasks.

The position will commence on a casual basis, with the potential for full-time employment for suitable candidates. Any full-time candidate will be required to complete a medical and functional assessment.

You will be required to work Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with general manufacturing and production tasks
• Safely handling and moving materials and finished products
• Operating machinery and equipment (training provided as required)
• Yard hand duties
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Skills and Experience (Desired):

• Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar industry
• Forklift licence with practical experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move materials
• Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Commitment to workplace health and safety

To be successful in this role, applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and complete a police check.
