Clarity PPM Developer - Hybrid

Tech Talent International (TTI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to startups, small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring a Senior Appian Developer - Hybrid for our consulting client in the Toronto area.

Role: Senior Appian Developer

Type: Contract

Rate Range: $75-78/hr C2C (40 hrs /week)

Duration: 6 months + 6 month extensions

Location: Hybrid (2 onsite/3 days from home) downtown Toronto, ON, Canada

Role Descriptions:We are seeking an experienced Clarity PPM Developer to design| develop| enhance| and support Broadcom Clarity PPM solutions that align with business and project portfolio management objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and customizing Clarity PPM| developing integrations with enterprise applications| creating reports and dashboards| and supporting end-to-end project lifecycle management processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Broadcom Clarity PPM applications and modules.
• Design and implement workflows, processes, portlets, attributes, and business rules within Clarity PPM.
• Build and support integrations between Clarity PPM and enterprise systems using APIs, XOG, GEL scripts, and web services.
• Develop SQL queries, database procedures, and data extraction processes for reporting and analytics.
• Create and maintain Jaspersoft/Clarity reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and implement scalable solutions.
• Perform system upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Top 3 Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Broadcom Clarity PPM development, configuration, and administration.
• Expertise in GEL scripting, XOG, REST APIs, web services, and Clarity integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, database development, and Clarity reporting (Jaspersoft/NSQL).

Top 3 Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, XML, and enterprise application development.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) processes.
• Experience with Clarity upgrades, cloud implementations, and performance tuning.
• Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant Clarity PPM development experience may be considered.
• Broadcom Clarity PPM certification is preferred.
