Full Job Description:

Join our dynamic team at Industrial Steels, a leading steel wholesale distribution warehouse in Hallam. We are currently seeking a motivated Warehouse Storeman to manage the loading, unloading, and organization of steel materials within our facility.

Position Summary:

The warehouse staff are responsible for ensuring that materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently, inspected, receipted, and placed in their designated areas in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include managing stock allocation, collecting heat numbers, preparing delivery dockets, maintaining a safe and tidy warehouse, labelling materials, operating a forklift, following delivery schedules, picking orders, and completing all necessary documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid driver's license

Crane experience preferred but not required

Knowledge of steel materials and sizes

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Previous warehouse experience

Competent in speaking and reading English

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials while ensuring accuracy

Inspect and receipt materials, organising them in correct locations

Manage stock allocation and organisation

Collect heat numbers and prepare delivery dockets

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety

Pick and prepare orders as required

Complete all warehouse paperwork and other miscellaneous duties
