Project Engineer โ€“ Major Bridge Project | Adelaide, SA

Link-Force AU is partnering with a leading formwork, concrete and civil infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced Project Engineer for a major bridge package on South Australia's landmark T2D (Torrens to Darlington) project.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a contractor renowned for delivering complex formwork, reinforced concrete, bridge and heavy civil infrastructure projects across Australia. Working as part of the project delivery team, you'll play a key role in the successful construction of one of the project's largest bridge structures, coordinating engineering, planning and site activities while ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in bridges, formwork, reinforced concrete or major civil infrastructure who is looking to work on one of Australia's premier infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering activities for a major bridge package from planning through to completion.
  • Assist with project programming, short-term planning and construction sequencing.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site resources.
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting and commercial performance.
  • Prepare and manage QA documentation, ITPs and project compliance.
  • Provide technical support to construction teams and resolve engineering issues.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
  • Identify project risks and contribute to practical engineering solutions.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer on major civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in bridge construction, reinforced concrete, formwork or heavy civil works.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
  • Sound understanding of construction methodologies, programming and project delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership.
