Warehouse Assistant

A premium Australian fashion house, established in 2011 with a simple fashion blog turned online store. SABO has a curated collection of clothing, shoes, swimwear, sleepwear, and formal wear all designed in-house and exclusively sold by SABO globally and managed by their Brisbane head office team.

Availability

• You have a right to work 38 hours per week in Australia with no sponsorship requirements.
• We are seeking someone who’s open to flexible shifts, especially during seasonal peaks.
• You are available between 7:30am and 5pm for various length shifts across Monday to Friday, with a focus on Monday to Wednesday.

Position Summary :

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Team Member to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting our warehouse operations, helping ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and sent with care and precision. You’ll also help us maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised space to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Requirements :

• Ability to learn processes and procedures and follow them.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with warehouse systems, barcoding, or inventory software.
• A forklift licence or formal training in warehouse or retail operations.
• Background in the fashion industry, especially with premium or luxury brands.

Job Responsibility :

• Picking & Packing: Select the right items with care, pack them securely, and include any collateral for a polished unboxing experience.
• Warehouse Support: Maintain stock organisation, assist with container unloading, and keep the workspace clean, tidy, and safe.
• Team Contribution: Pitch in across tasks, adapt to what’s needed, and work flexibly to help us deliver a seamless customer experience.

Fitness for Work Requirement

• Comply with Health and Safety to maintain a safe working environment.
• Able and willing to wear PPE.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects of varying weights, often up to 25 kg, and perform tasks that require bending, stretching, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to sweep, mop, bend, twist, use a vacuum cleaner and general warehouse cleaning and maintenance equipment without injury to yourself or others in the workplace.
• Ability to concentrate, follow instructions, and make quick decisions to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
• Free from any medical conditions that could impair their ability to work safely.
• Ability to manage fatigue and maintain alertness, especially for those working in shifts or extended hours.
