Warehouse Assistant

As a Warehouse Assistant at Workscene, you will be a key player in our logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of our workwear products. This role is critical for maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling customer orders promptly and accurately, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks), with training provided as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize storage solutions and streamline processes.
• Handle returns, including inspection and restocking of goods.
• Respond to internal queries related to stock and order status.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics role preferred but not essential.
• High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Forklift license or willingness to undergo training.
