Position: Delivery —Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safe Delivery: Ensure timely and secure delivery of our kitchen and joinery products to various destinations, maintaining the quality and integrity of the goods.
• Load & Unload: Safely load and unload kitchen components and cabinets by hand, ensuring products remain undamaged during transit.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and basic maintenance of the delivery truck to ensure safe operations.
• Communication: Regularly update the dispatch and logistics team about delivery status, potential delays, or any on-road issues.
• Route Planning: Use GPS and other routing systems to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including signatures, times, and any special instructions or issues.
• Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving trucks or similar vehicles.
• Ability to lift heavy items when necessary.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Furniture Delivery or Removalist experienced Preferred
