About US:

We are seeking an experienced causal Nurses to join our Rockhampton clinic in a professional occupational health setting. This position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no evening, weekend, or on-call requirements, providing an optimal work-life balance for nursing professionals.

Required days at a minimum:

  • Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Unlike acute care environments, this role focuses on health assessments and occupational medicine within a collaborative, clinical setting. Our nurses work as integral members of a multidisciplinary team, conducting pre-employment and health surveillance assessments that directly contribute to workplace safety across major Australian industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside Doctors, Exercise Scientists/Physiologists, and Administration staff, and supported by experienced Occupational Technicians, you will:
  • Take patient histories and conduct medical screening including ECG, spirometry, audiometry, drug and alcohol testing, and respiratory fit testing
  • Deliver health and wellness initiatives
  • Provide an exceptional level of candidate-centred care, ensuring our clients have a quality experience at our clinics

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Strong focus on teamwork with approachable manner and excellent interpersonal skills
