Role Description
Club Manager – Rocks Fitness
The Club Manager is responsible for leading the overall operations and performance of the club, ensuring an exceptional member experience while driving business growth. This role oversees daily operations, team leadership, membership sales, renewals, customer engagement, and facility standards.
Key responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating with fitness trainers and front-desk teams, achieving sales and revenue targets, maintaining operational excellence, monitoring budgets and reports, implementing marketing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong business acumen, excellent people management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced fitness environment.
- Experience in fitness club, hospitality, or retail management, with the ability to oversee day-to-day operations and staff.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on member satisfaction and conflict resolution.
- Competence in basic sales, marketing, and member retention activities, including promoting programs and services.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, reporting, and handling routine financial and billing tasks.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Ability to lead teams, coach staff, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
- Comfort with using club management software, basic office tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, hospitality, or a related field, and prior experience in a gym or fitness club setting.
