Job Description

What You’ll Actually Do

Own inbound response & qualification

  • Be the first human touch for every inbound lead across both brands — website inquiries, content downloads, demo requests, event lists, and referrals — with fast, personalized follow-up.
  • Lead qualification conversations: understand the prospect’s pain (a stalled Snowflake migration, an underperforming data platform, a cloud modernization mandate, a runaway AWS bill), gauge fit, budget, authority, and timing (BANT/MEDDIC-style), and qualify in or out with confidence.
  • Route each opportunity to the right entry point: Snowflake and Cloud services conversations to the respective teams

Convert interest into meetings

  • Book and brief discovery meetings and demos for senior delivery and leadership, with clean handoff notes covering context, pain, stakeholders, tech stack, and next steps. You set the table; our consultants and founders close.
  • Nurture not-yet-ready leads with relevant follow-ups — a Snowflake cost benchmark, a migration checklist, a FinOps savings estimate — so they come back when timing is right.

Support outbound & campaigns

  • Work alongside our BDR/outbound function: follow up on campaign responders, warm up target accounts, and run light outbound into named accounts when inbound is quiet.
  • Use AI deliberately — LLMs and AI-powered enrichment and sequencing tools — to research accounts, draft outreach, and personalize at scale without losing accuracy or the human touch.

Keep the machine clean

  • Own CRM hygiene for everything you touch (HubSpot or similar) — every lead, conversation, and disposition logged, clean, and reportable. The CRM is the source of truth.
  • Report weekly on lead volume, response times, qualification rates, and meeting conversion; suggest improvements to messaging and process.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years in B2B sales development / SDR / inside sales, ideally in data platforms, cloud services, SaaS, or IT consulting, selling into North American or other international markets.
  • Excellent written and spoken English — polished, confident, and quick on your feet with senior executives.
  • AI-savvy: you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude, enrichment and sequencing tools) to move faster and personalize better — with the judgment to know when not to automate.
  • Speed and discipline: you respond to leads in minutes, not days, and follow a process without being robotic.
  • Strong qualification instincts: you ask good questions, listen well, and aren’t afraid to disqualify.
  • CRM rigor: hands-on with HubSpot (or similar) and serious about data hygiene.
  • Conceptual comfort with the modern data & cloud stack — Snowflake and data warehousing, cloud migration (especially AWS), and FinOps/cloud cost concepts — enough to hold a credible first conversation with a Head of Data, a VP of Engineering, or a CFO. No coding required.
  • Willingness to work North American hours (non-negotiable).
  • Growth mindset: you see SDR as a launchpad toward senior demand-gen, BDR, or AE roles as the team scales.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or equivalent prospecting tools.
  • Prior exposure to the Snowflake, AWS, or broader cloud partner ecosystem.
  • Exposure to FinOps, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps concepts and buyers.
  • Experience in an early-stage or founder-led sales environment where you helped shape the process rather than inherit it.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies (North America, APAC, Middle East).
