Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Compliance and Administration Intern to join our Sydney office. The role will support the company’s compliance activities and assist with general administrative coordination, document management and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with compliance reviews, document collection and preliminary checks.
- Support the review and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, approval records and compliance documentation.
- Assist with compliance monitoring, record verification and the preparation of compliance reports and working papers.
- Track compliance matters and follow up with relevant departments on required actions and outstanding documents.
- Conduct basic research on applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance and industry requirements.
- Prepare and organise compliance records, business documents, reports and presentation materials.
- Assist with general office administration, meeting coordination, filing and internal communications.
- Support bilingual communication and the translation of documents between English and Chinese.
- Perform other compliance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Previous experience in compliance, legal, risk management, finance or administration would be advantageous.
