Group Accountant

Perigon Group is partnering with a growing, ASX-listed organisation to recruit a Group Accountant. This is an outstanding opportunity for an accountant who enjoys working across both operational and technical finance responsibilities and thrives in an evolving environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting a business entering an exciting phase of growth and development. As the organisation continues to evolve, you'll be involved in everything from day-to-day finance operations through to month-end reporting, compliance, forecasting and process improvement, providing broad exposure and excellent development opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support month-end reporting, reconciliations and general ledger integrity
• Assist with consolidated reporting, statutory compliance and audit requirements
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and financial analysis
• Prepare BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT returns
• Manage the Accounts Payable function across multiple entities
• Drive process improvements and maintain strong financial controls
• Provide broad support across both operational and technical finance activities

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business or Finance
• 2+ years experience in an accounting or finance position, first mover from public practice highly regarded
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel capability, keen interest in utilising AI
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved across all areas of the finance function
