Product Owner

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Product Owner to join their team

This will be a daily rate contract position, for an initial 6 month contract and views to extend as they have a significant program of work on going across Technology and Transformation

Role is with a great organization and it will operate on a hybrid basis of 2 / 3 days per week on site

Ideally you will have experience in Insurance, General Insurance or Life insurance to be suitable for the position.

Responsibilities

• Define and mange data delivery roadmaps, aligning with business goals and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various teams across product, engineering, strategy and others
• Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders using data-driven insights.
• Proven experience delivering end to end customer journeys experience (quote, sale, service, renewals)
• Strong scrum experience with backlog management, user stories and sprint planning.
• Experience working on large business transformation programmes
• Deliver value tied to business outcomes, prioritize initiatives and communicate progress to release.
• Create and prioritize product backlog, collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead Sprint Reviews, motivate teams, manage budgets, and establish agile product ownership within the organization.

Experience required

• 5+ years’ experience in a Product Owner at a Senior level
• 2-4 years of PO experience with a focus on Insurance
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Hold a Professional Product Owner certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong leadership and communication skills with Agile/Scrum experience.
• Outcome-focused product ownership with user story writing skills.
• Collaborative approach with Scrum Master and delivery team.
• Data-driven decision making and prioritization skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change.
