We are excited to announce an opening for Manager, Data Operations & Management at MCC India. Collibra Platform Engineer: (Manager, Data Operations & Management)
We are seeking an experienced Collibra Platform Engineer (Manager, Data Operations and Management) to handle the design, implementation, and operation of the enterprise Collibra platform. The role requires strong hands-on Collibra expertise and stakeholder management, with responsibility for scalable platform solutions, cloud migrations, end-to-end integrations, asset operating-model enhancements, and reliable platform operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, rationalize, and maintain the Collibra operating model (communities, domains, asset types, workflows, metadata ingestion, lineage, permissions, etc.).
- Perform impact assessments across operating model, workflows, metadata ingestion, lineage, permissions, platform services, and integrations.
- Translate business and governance requirements into scalable technical designs, architecture diagrams, standards, and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead Collibra-related cloud migrations (AWS , GCP or comparable transitions).
- Coordinate with Cloud, Network, IAM, Security, Architecture, and vendor teams for infrastructure readiness.
- Lead metadata ingestion, source onboarding, lineage, reconciliation, and integration troubleshooting.
- Define secure authentication and authorization patterns (SSO/SAML, SCIM, IAM, secrets, least-privilege access).
- Guide integrations with cloud data platforms, databases, warehouses, enterprise applications, and workflow systems.
- Partner with data owners/stewards to improve glossary, catalog, governance.
- Review technical designs, code, configuration, deployment packages, test evidence, runbooks, and readiness artifacts.
- Monitor and report platform health, adoption, metadata quality, workflow performance, onboarding progress, risks, and governance outcomes.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 8+ years in data governance, metadata management, data catalog, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on with Collibra (architecture, workflows, ingestion, lineage, production support).
- Proven involvement in at least one major cloud migration or platform modernization initiative.
- Experience delivering end-to-end integrations between Collibra and enterprise sources.
- Strong knowledge of Collibra Edge, Workflow Designer, BPMN, REST APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, Groovy/Java/Python scripting.
- Understanding of metadata structures, ingestion patterns, lineage, catalogs, glossaries, governance controls.
- Hands-on AWS/GCP experience (IAM, secrets, Kubernetes, monitoring).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, IS, or related field.
- Preferred/Certifications
- Collibra Ranger certification strongly preferred.
- Other Collibra certifications (Solution Architect, Integration Engineer, Workflow Developer, Data Steward, Data Quality).
- Experience with Collibra Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data Products, AI Governance, Policy Manager, Reference Data, Control Tower.
- Integration experience with GCP, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Oracle, One Trust, Erwin, ServiceNow, Jira.
- Experience in Retail/QSR environments and global governance models.
- Experience with release management, platform observability, RBAC, SSO/SAML, SCIM, vendor management, and audit/compliance controls.
