Adelaide Quality Care (AQC) is a growing provider of home-based aged care and disability support services across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Officer to join our friendly office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.
Working closely with our Payroll, Finance and HR teams, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our administration functions.
About the Role
This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Assisting with weekly payroll processing
- Payroll administration using Xero Payroll
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable support
- General administrative duties
- Data entry and maintaining accurate employee and client records
- Preparing correspondence, reports and documentation
- Managing emails and calendars through Microsoft Outlook
- Assisting with filing, document management and compliance records
- Providing administrative support to management and the wider team
- Answering telephone enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2–5 years' experience in an administration position
- Previous experience working with payroll and/or accounts
- Experience using Xero Payroll (highly desirable)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support a collaborative team
- A professional, approachable and positive manner
Experience within the aged care, disability or health sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in accounts
- Proactive with a high attention to detail.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
