Product Owner

ProductMontréal, QC / HybridFull-time

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join an agile product team within a growing B2B platform in the financial services sector. You will lead strategic initiatives end-to-end from discovery through delivery and outcome measurement, in a continuous delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic initiatives from end-to-end, including facilitating stakeholder discovery sessions, producing discovery briefs, and creating clear, actionable delivery specifications.
  • Translate product direction into well-defined work items in close collaboration with developers and UX design teams.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure acceptance criteria reflect the intended product outcomes, not just technical requirements.
  • Track and communicate post-release results, focusing not only on deployment but also on measurable business value.
  • Support the team in validating, prioritizing, and resolving support requests and production incidents.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining proactive communication with the Director of Product.

Profile and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in product discovery, including user interviews, problem framing, and defining measurable success criteria.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and using work management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities independently.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) is required.

Significant Assets

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, fintech).
  • Experience with complex B2B distribution platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with UX design teams and tools such as Figma and design systems.
  • Knowledge of BI and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, basic SQL).
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment with continuous delivery practices.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and bonus.
  • Vacation and additional personal leave.
  • RRSP matching.
  • Full group benefits (50% paid by us).
  • AAA office space in the heart of Montreal.
  • Work from home and set your own schedule flexibility.
