Job Description

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospective yacht owners.
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting activities, yacht clubs, marinas, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry through negotiation, contract execution, delivery, and handover.
  • Conduct yacht inspections, onboard demonstrations, and sea trials for prospective clients.
  • Prepare professional sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and purchase agreements.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipeline data, and activity reports within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the ownership journey.
  • Represent DCH Marine at boat shows, exhibitions, networking functions, and industry events throughout Australia and internationally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with marina operators, yacht clubs, luxury brands, brokers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3โ€“5 years' experience in luxury, marine, or other high-value asset sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing high-value transactions.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship management, and closing skills, with the ability to engage confidently with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and sales reporting tools.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence is essential; boating experience or a NSW Recreational Boat Licence will be highly regarded.
  • Flexible to travel domestically and internationally, attend boat shows and industry events, and work weekends when required.
