About the role
As a Field Service Technician for Pneumatic Services and Inspections (PSI Compressors), you will be out on the road working on site with our customers across Western Australia. You will be the go‑to person for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing air compressors and related equipment. In this dynamic environment, no two days are the same, you will get to work with a variety of industries.
Your day might include:
Regular maintenance & service of compressed air equipment
Including fixed plant electric
Mobile diesel compressors and generators
High pressure compressors and boosters
Covering all brands of compressors including popular brands - Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Compair, Sullair, Airman, Rotair, Belliss and Morcom
Fitting and assembling components
Installation of pipe systems
Troubleshooting and repairs to equipment on site
Performing maintenance and upgrades
Working independently and solving problems in the field
The role entails servicing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting compressors and related compressed air equipment on‑site at our clients’ locations throughout Perth.
You will also be responsible for conducting functionality tests on compressors and compressed air equipment.
Overseeing the installation of air compressors, refrigerated dryers, and related equipment.
Reach out to customers for scheduled service and preventive maintenance.
Occasional remote work. Covering all of Western Australia
Requirements of the Role:
Must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia (we are currently not able to sponsor a work‑visa).
Mechanical fitter or Electrical experience (~1 year's minimum): or a trade qualification/background, compressed air experienced is desirable.
Good Communication, Collaboration with the Sales and Administration teams is vital, and you will also contribute valuable leads to the sales department.
A valid Australian Driver's License: as the role does require daily travel to our customer sites.
A car licence (C class) is required for this position
Self motivated and able to work autonomously.
Experience using computerised diagnostic tools
A valid Electrical Licence
An electrical licence can be obtained after hiring
A sense of humour and the ability to enjoy a beer at the end of the day
