This is a very exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable Warehouse / Assembly Operator who wants to join a world leading company. Although experience within the Hose Industry is preferred, Parker will provide an opportunity to a mechanically minded individual who is prepared to learn.

The role is located in Welshpool, WA. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 38 per week.

Reporting to the Technical Service Supervisor, main responsibilities will be:

  • Timely manufacture of hydraulic hoses and tubes to fulfill customer requirements; meeting customer’s deadlines
  • Ensure hose and tube assemblies are manufactured accurately according to the required specifications; product, length, orientation and crimp dimensions as well as testing and tagging
  • Conduct required tests for the hoses to ensure high level of quality
  • Pick, Issue and complete Works Orders

The ideal candidate will also be trained in the following job tasks and responsibilities.

  • Cut & Deburr Tube Material
  • Set & Operate CNC Tube Bender and EOMat Uni
  • Operate Romer Inspection Arm

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of in hydraulic hose assembly will be highly regarded
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • A positive, "can do" attitude
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
  • Forklift License preferable
