About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our expanding South Australian Civil team. This role will provide the opportunity to work across a broad portfolio of property and infrastructure projects, including land development, civil infrastructure and major engineering works.

Working closely with clients, project teams and stakeholders, you will apply your technical expertise to deliver practical engineering solutions across a broad portfolio of property and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical capability, take ownership of projects and contribute to the growth of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Civil engineering design for land development projects, including residential, commercial and industrial developments
  • Preparation and review of civil engineering drawings, designs and technical documentation
  • Concept, feasibility and detailed design development
  • Bulk earthworks, road design, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure design
  • Preparation of project specifications, scopes of work and cost estimates
  • Coordination with clients, councils, contractors and regulatory authorities
  • Site inspections, construction support and design reviews
  • Providing technical guidance, mentoring and support to junior engineers

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience delivering civil engineering projects within the property and/or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience working on land development projects and broader civil engineering works
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, guidelines and design practices
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational abilities
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively and deliver quality outcomes for clients
