Our client is one of Canada's premier luxury brands, recognized globally for its exceptional craftsmanship and clientele that includes Heads of State, celebrities, and members of the Royal Family.

As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations across both their wholesale manufacturing and retail divisions. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take ownership of the full financial function within a highly respected Canadian organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities while providing meaningful analysis to support business decisions.
  • Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational spending, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliations, cycle counts, and inventory controls.
  • Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and operational trends while providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate tax requirements and work alongside external advisors on tax planning and filings.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team while continuously improving financial processes and internal controls.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder

What We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Accounting Experience in a finished goods retail environment - Fashion preferred
  • CPA designation is not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
  • Experience preparing complete financial statements.
  • At least 2 years of people leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with accounting systems; QuickBooks experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
