Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Bright Beginnings Learning Centre Tarneit Pty Ltd. Date Posted: July 30, 2026. Position: Early Childhood Teacher. Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Hours: 38 hours per week. Mode: Full-time. Location: 1071 Leakes Rd, Tarneit VIC 3029. Experience required: Minimum 1 year experience as Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar role.
Bright Beginnings Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our nurturing and supportive early learning environment. At Bright Beginnings, we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that supports children’s holistic development in a safe, inclusive, and engaging setting. We are looking for an educator who can create meaningful learning experiences, foster curiosity, and support each child’s growth across cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development stages.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping early learning outcomes through structured and play-based educational programs aligned with early childhood frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging early childhood learning programs aligned with approved early learning frameworks
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor learning experiences using a variety of educational materials and resources
- Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through structured and play-based learning activities
- Encourage language and communication development through storytelling, group discussions, songs, rhymes, and role-play activities
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Identify and respond to any concerns related to health, wellbeing, emotional development, or learning difficulties
- Ensure the health, safety, hygiene, and wellbeing of all children in accordance with regulatory standards and centre policies
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence, cooperation, and independence among children through guided learning and play
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and development
- Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, and curriculum planning discussions
- Contribute to family engagement initiatives and community-based learning programs where appropriate
- Supervise and support student teachers on placement and assist with mentoring when required
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a consistent, high-quality learning environment
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar role
Skills & Other Requirements
- Valid First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- A strong understanding of child development and play based learning.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach.
- Ability to plan, reflect, and adapt educational programs.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth.
