About this Opportunity
We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our team based at our new distribution centre in Wingfield, South Australia, on a permanent full-time basis to help maintain our world class delivery performance and safe work practices.
This role will be responsible for:
- Picking and packing orders, picking stock based on sales or transfer orders, making sure quantities and items are correct
- Packing goods securely, labelling, and preparing shipments for customers or other AVK sites
- Invoicing sales orders for dispatch
- Creating consignment notes online for dispatch
- Using RF barcode scanners and computer terminals to complete stock movements
- Allocating stock to the correct bin locations and updating the system
- Cycle counting, stock takes and investigating discrepancies
- Working with customer service, planning, and transport teams
- Flagging stock shortages, delays, or issues early
- Participating in general warehouse activities
- Other ad-hoc warehouse duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:
- Experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook & Excel
- Ability to be a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid forklift licence
The following will be highly regarded:
- ERP experience (SAP, NAV, Dynamics 365 etc)
- RF barcode scanner experience
- Reach forklift experience
