The role

Koala Kindy, a leading early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our service located in Helensvale. In this casual role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the minds of our youngest learners and supporting their growth and development.

What you'll be doing

• Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Creating a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment where children can thrive
• Observing and documenting children's progress to inform curriculum development
• Building strong relationships with families and providing regular feedback on their child's development
• Collaborating with the wider education team to ensure consistency in approach
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing and development of young children
• Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or ability to obtain registration
• Willingness to take on roles and responsibilities of a 'Responsible Person'
• Sound knowledge and understanding of NQS, EYLF and Child Safety Laws
• Valid 'Blue Card'
