Estimator / Sales Consultant

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Estimator / Sales Consultant to join our team in Lilydale. If you enjoy solving problems, building relationships with clients and preparing accurate quotations, we'd love to hear from you.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate fencing quotations
• Reviewing plans, measurements and site information
• Responding to email and website enquiries
• Speaking with clients to understand their requirements
• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into sales
• Maintaining accurate CRM and sales records
• Liaising with suppliers regarding products and pricing
• Working with the scheduling and operations team to ensure smooth project handover
• Identifying upsell opportunities
• Assisting with the continuous improvement of quoting systems, workflows and internal procedures
• Looking for smarter, more efficient ways to complete tasks and improve the customer experience

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys both the technical and customer service side of sales.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience preparing quotations or estimates
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidence working with plans and measurements
• Excellent computer skills
• The ability to prioritise multiple jobs simultaneously
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• A genuine interest in technology, automation and AI tools, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and bring fresh ideas to the business. You don't need to be an AI expert—we're looking for someone who enjoys learning new technology and finding smarter ways of working.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within fencing, landscaping, construction or the building industry
• Previous estimating experience
• Experience using CRM or job management softwareAbility to interpret architectural or site plans
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar to improve productivity and streamline administrative tasks
