We're looking for a motivated Junior to join our office in Gladstone, Queensland.

The role
This role reports to our Gladstone Branch Manager and is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Attending to bulk vessels within the Port of Gladstone and surrounds
Control and reporting of vessel movements within the port
Ensuring customs and Port Shipping Terminal requirements are met
Issuance of Shipping Documents
Data entry and maintenance of vessel files, including inputting, updating, and maintaining relevant information in our internal databases and systems
Liaison with overseas and local principles on a daily basis
Attending to general customer enquiries
Crew change and owners co-ordination
This role will eventually require some weekend and out-of-hours work which is customary for the industry.
Selection criteria
Excellent MS Office and computer skills
Be reliable and have good time management skills
Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business
Reliable team player and ability to work autonomously
Currently holds (or is eligible to obtain), a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
C-Class Driver's License
Selected candidate must complete and pass a medical and drug & alcohol test to be successful for the role.
