Senior learning assistant (1)

The Middle School Senior Learning Assistant supports students with diverse learning needs in the middle school division by providing academic, organizational, and social-emotional assistance under the guidance of teachers, counselors, and learning support specialists. This role helps facilitate student success by promoting independence, engagement, and access to the curriculum within an inclusive learning environment.









Responsabilidades e atribuições

Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction and student engagement.

Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.

Support students during classroom activities, assessments, projects, and presentations as appropriate.

Help prepare instructional materials and learning resources when needed.

Work closely with teachers, counselors, learning support specialists, and administrators to support student success.

Participate in meetings related to student support plans as requested.

Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.

Communicate professionally with all members of the school community.

Assist with supervision during designated school activities and transitions as assigned.

Promote a safe and respectful learning environment aligned with school values and expectations.

Supervise students or adults during ISC Academy, Wellness or Athletic program.

Provide supervision and/or substitution in classes when a teacher is absent

Requisitos e qualificações

• Bachelor and/or licenciatura concluded (teaching license) in Pedagogy and/or Language in English/Portuguese.
• Technical English/Conversational English.
