The Middle School Physical Education Senior Learning Assistant supports the delivery of the Middle School Physical Education program by assisting teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. This role helps facilitate student participation in physical education classes, sports, and movement-based activities by providing organizational, instructional, and logistical support, encouraging student engagement, and promoting the development of physical, social, and teamwork skills.

Collaborate with Physical Education teachers to support the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging and inclusive PE lessons.Assist in maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment during physical education classes, sports, and movement-based activities.Support students in developing physical skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence while encouraging active participation.Prepare, organize, set up, and store sports equipment and instructional materials before and after classes and activities.Monitor student safety and well-being during indoor and outdoor physical activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and safety procedures.Work closely with Physical Education teachers, counselors, administrators, and other school staff to support student learning and well-being.Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.Communicate professionally with all members of the school community.Assist with supervision during designated school activities, transitions, recess, field trips, athletic events, and other school programs as assigned.Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment aligned with the school s values and expectations.Supervise students during ISC Academy, Wellness, or Athletic programs as assigned.Provide supervision and/or classroom coverage for Physical Education classes when a teacher is absent.Requisitos e qualificações
- Bachelor s degree and/or Licenciatura in Physical Education.
- Active registration with CREF (Regional Council of Physical Education).
- Technical English and conversational English.
