About Pricing:

At Sollers, the mission of the Pricing Competency is to provide insurers with the tools and capabilities they need to develop precise and flexible tariffs, optimize their pricing strategies, and give pricing teams the independence to implement changes without relying on internal IT teams.

About the role. You will:

  • Be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies.
  • Work closely with actuaries, pricing analysts, software engineers, solution architects, and business teams.
  • Design, build, and maintain risk and pricing models.
  • Develop, migrate, and configure pricing tariffs and models in modern pricing engines.
  • Automate pricing processes and support tariff management within pricing platforms.
  • Support insurers in implementing and optimizing modern pricing solutions.
  • About the requirements. You need:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in insurance pricing, actuarial modeling, or pricing analytics.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, data science or any related field.
  • Good understanding of GLMs, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience working with insurance pricing data and building risk models.
  • Practical experience with Python or R for data analysis and model development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Great command of the English language (at least C1), being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers.
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working.
  • Ability to work in Poland and the European Union on a full-time basis.
  • About the wishes. Nice to haves:

  • Hands-on experience with pricing engines (for example Earnix, PricingCenter, or hyperexponential (hx)).
  • Experience in system analysis.
  • Team leadership skills and management experience.
  • Additional languages.
  • Willingness to work with international clients and travel occasionally (up to 50% of working time when required).
  • About our promises. We can offer:

  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid home office model (2-3 times per week in the office) as work-life balance is crucial at Sollers.
  • A chance to be promoted twice a year and a clearly defined career path with salary forecast.
  • Opportunities for growth with a training budget that you can use for courses and conferences. We also provide access to an online training platform and co-fund language classes.
  • An internal coach to guide you through the onboarding, further training and career opportunities, plus a budget to be used for your lunches together.
  • A chance to #domore for the planet and the community as part of Sollers Change Makers – our volunteering program.
  • Lots of teambuilding activities, trips, hobby groups and cultural events to create a company powered by teamwork.
  • Probably all the benefits you can think of!
