Seaway Express is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cornwall, Ontario. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Track and trace shipments while providing accurate updates to customers.
• Resolve customer concerns and shipment issues with a positive, solution-focused approach.
• Lead on all OS&D of delivered freight
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information within the transportation management system (TMS).
• Review and audit customer freight rates to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with customer pricing agreements.
• Verify shipment details, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, prior to invoicing.
• Prepare shipping documentation and process customer requests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional service.
• Support other administrative and operational duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (English and French) an asset
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Experience with transportation management software is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
