About you

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills with a desire to develop your career further
  • Proficient in business analytics and Excel
  • Experience working within a commercial environment or relevant secondment
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines

What you'll do

  • Oversee financial reporting for a portfolio of contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and conduct detailed contract analysis
  • Perform variance analysis on contract performance, highlighting risks or deviations
  • Engage with contract managers and stakeholders to resolve financial queries
  • Support statutory compliance including VAT, RCT, CIS, and Irish audit requirements
  • Contribute to business improvement projects, enhancing commercial finance partnerships
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Create insightful reports to assist senior management in decision-making
