Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tax Assistant role based in Hyderabad. The Tax Assistant will support daily tax compliance activities, including preparing tax returns, assisting with GST filings, and maintaining accurate tax records. Responsibilities include working with accounting software to process transactions, helping compile financial statements, and assisting in payroll administration tasks related to statutory deductions.

The role also involves coordinating with senior team members to gather documentation, responding to basic client queries, and ensuring that filing deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Tax Preparation and Tax compliance, with a basic understanding of GST and direct/indirect tax concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in using Accounting Software and handling Financial Statements for routine accounting and reporting tasks.
• Candidates should possess skills in Payroll Administration, including managing statutory deductions and maintaining related records.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow structured processes and work within deadlines.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; prior internship or experience in taxation or accounting is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Hyderabad and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
