Regional Sales Manager – Trauma – South Australia & Western Australia

The Role
Lead a high‑performing trauma sales team and make a tangible impact on patient outcomes across South Australia and Western Australia.
What You Will Do
- Lead and develop a regional team of four Sales Representatives and two Clinical Consultants, driving performance, capability uplift, and internal progression.
- Deliver regional sales growth by achieving and exceeding annual revenue, market share, and profitability targets across allocated territories.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and decision‑makers to expand account penetration.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies and business plans informed by customer insights, market trends, and competitive activity.
- Set and manage territory targets, budgets, and service support levels to optimise coverage, productivity, and customer experience.
- Recruit, onboard, and coach Territory Managers, ensuring time‑to‑productivity is minimised and performance expectations are achieved.
- Analyse and report sales performance, providing accurate monthly forecasts, pipeline updates, and variance analysis against plan.
- Represent the business at conferences, trade shows, and strategic projects, providing visible and credible sales leadership.
Required
- Minimum 3 years experience in a sales management role with direct people leadership responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years experience in field‑based sales.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Valid Australian driver’s licence.
Preferred
- Experience leading sales teams within medical devices, healthcare, or a regulated industry.
- Experience managing multi‑state or geographically dispersed sales teams.
Additional Information
- Work arrangement: field‑based leadership role covering South Australia and Western Australia.
- Travel: regular intrastate and interstate travel required, including conferences and team development activities.
