A pre-enablement engineer is responsible for performing the initial groundwork, Civilsand infrastructure tasks in a customer's property or area before a main installation or connection takes place on behalf of Virgin Media or City Fibre.

Pay of TelecomsPre Enablement engineer :

- Telecoms Pre Enablement engineer will be working on a competitiverate cardthrough a self employed CIS setup.

-If youwork hard and put in the effort there is no cap on yourearnings.

Job Description of Telecoms Pre Enablement engineer:

-This will involve laying cables, rodding and roping underground networksand preparing the site to ensure a smooth and efficient connection process later.

- Carrying out network pre-enablementactivities

- Installing, maintainingand replacing network infrastructure equipment

- Cable Pulling and proving fibrecables through the underground duct networks

- Clearing blockages and identifying network faults

- Working within footways, carriageways, cabinets, chambersand customer access areas

- Using specialist tooling and civils equipment safely and effectively

- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards

Key Requirements of TelecomsPre Enablement engineer

- Previous pre-enablement, Cable pulling , telecoms, network build, civils on fibre or Copper

-NRSWA Accredited or knowledge of Signing, Lighting and Guarding requirements

- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points on
