Job Position: Laboratory Technician - Protein Analytics

Salary: up to 64.900€ per year

Contract: Direct and Permanent Contract

Take up this brand new Laboratory Technician - Protein Analytics opportunity, at a global Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Amsterdam.

About the Role

In this hands-on lab position, you will work as part of the Quality Control (QC) team, performing analytical testing of drug substances and products using techniques such as HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and wet chemistry methods. You’ll also contribute to method validations and GMP documentation.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of intermediates, drug substances, and drug products
• Use analytical techniques such as HPLC, DLS, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, UV, pH, KF, and wet chemistry
• Perform testing of utility and environmental samples in compliance with GMP standards
• Support method validation for product-specific testing procedures
• Contribute to documentation processes: deviations, change controls, SOPs, lab reports and quality records
• Participate in method validation for product-specific analytical methods
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field (e.g., HLO, BSc)
• 3-5+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech laboratory
• Strong technical skills in analytical methods, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Hands-on experience with protein analytics and quality documentation
