This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience in general building maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. The role offers long-term potential through ongoing contract extensions while working in a dynamic property environment supporting building operations and tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance and repairs
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical tasks
- Repair and maintain common building fixtures and equipment
- Conduct drywall patching and minor wall repairs
- Install and replace faucets, light switches, and related fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests from building occupants
- Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness of common areas
- Support fire alarm bypass procedures and building maintenance projects
Requirements
- Demonstrate experience in commercial, residential, or institutional maintenance
- Perform basic plumbing repairs including toilet and faucet repairs
- Complete light electrical work such as changing switches and fixtures
- Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical equipment repairs
- Apply knowledge of HVAC and general building systems
- Repair drywall and complete basic finishing work
- Lift, carry, and perform physically demanding maintenance activities
- Possess experience with fire alarm bypass procedures or willingness to discuss related experience
