Role Description
The commission driven Sales & Account Manager is a contract role based in Calgary, AB. You are responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of advertising and partnership accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating advertising packages, and closing new business.
The Sales Account Manager will maintain regular contact with clients, coordinate with editorial and production teams to deliver campaigns, and monitor performance to recommend improvements. The role also involves tracking sales activity, preparing reports, and contributing ideas to support revenue growth and market development for LIV Magazine.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management and Customer Service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in Customer Satisfaction, including proactive issue resolution and consistent follow-up.
- Experience with Lead Generation and sales prospecting to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
- Excellent Communication skills for client meetings, presentations, negotiation, and internal collaboration.
- Prior experience in media, advertising, publishing, or a related sales environment is an asset.
- Comfort using CRM tools and basic office productivity software to manage pipelines and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
